We use this process to remove ice and snow so that we can continue to install heat cable throughout the winter. We also offer roof ice removal as an emergency service for when there is excess snow and ice on the roof threatening a cave-in.

Heat cable was not heating up, allowing heavy ice buildup, which led to gutter damage and leaking. Electrical issue was traced to a bad GFEP pigtail, where water had entered due to no drip loop at the power location.

Heat cable was improperly installed by forcibly ramming it down a downspout, leading to tears in the cable, causing water to get into the ground braid and short the system.
